Amenhotep II (1427-1400 BCE) dispatched military forces into Nubia to suppress rebellions and expand Egyptian authority. The campaigns crushed Nubian resistance and enslaved captured populations. Egyptian military organization maintained superiority.
Nubian campaigns maintained Egypt's control and ensured tributary contributions to Egypt's economy.
