1576 · Mughal Empire vs Kingdom of Mewar
On 18 June 1576 a Mughal army under Man Singh I fought the Mewar forces of Maharana Pratap at the Haldighati pass. The Mughals held the field, but Pratap escaped to continue a prolonged guerrilla resistance.
