A Roman-Pergamene army under Lucius Cornelius Scipio Asiaticus and Eumenes II decisively defeated the much larger Seleucid army of Antiochus III the Great in Lydia during the Roman-Seleucid War. The defeat led to the Treaty of Apamea and ended Seleucid power in Asia Minor.
