A war over the Lan Na city-states comprising the Burmese invasion of Chiang Mai in 1802 and the Siamese invasion and destruction of Chiang Saen in 1804. Chiang Saen was plundered and its roughly 23,000 inhabitants were deported and resettled across Siam and Laos.
