Also called the Siamese Invasions of Kengtung, a series of Siamese and Lan Na expeditions against the Tai Khün state of Kengtung under Burmese suzerainty, aimed at gaining access to Chiang Hung (Sipsongpanna). Three invasions between 1850 and 1854 all failed, and the Siamese were driven back by 1855.
