1590 · Toyotomi forces vs Later Hōjō clan
Toyotomi Hideyoshi's 1590 siege of the Hōjō stronghold at Odawara, conducted largely by blockade and intimidation with some 220,000 troops. The Hōjō surrender effectively completed the unification of Japan.
