Dai Viet expansion completed the conquest of Champa Kingdom by 1693, establishing Vietnamese dominance.
Over centuries, Dai Viet (northern Vietnam) expanded southward through military conquest of Champa territories. By the late 17th century, Champa Kingdom was reduced to isolated territories. The final conquest eliminated Champa as independent power. Champa populations were absorbed or dispersed.
